Wednesday, July 31, 2002. 431pm. Seokcho, Korea.
yep, i'm out of seoul again. this time, i'm in seokcho which is by the sea. my cousin and his family left for this little mini-break yesterday and one of the first things we did was to hit the beach. of course, i got burned as i have been getting burned every year now since the first time i got burned in florida. thankfully, i'm not burned as bad as my niece is. today, we went swimming this morning for a couple of hours and i had to wear one of those swimming caps because you aren't allowed to swim if you don't have one on. the reasoning behind this is that wearing swimming caps decreases the amount of hair in the water. eh. anyway, afterwards, we went to the sauna and just hung out in the hot tub and the dry sauna. this sauna is a mini version of the public sauna i went to earlier. remember? so now, nobody wants to go to the beach. i don't want to go because i'm burned as well as my niece. the younger kids don't want to go because the sun is too hot. we're all just bumming around here at the condo now and i'm using the computer here and the others are in the lobby playing games or reading and stuff. so, while my upper body is burned, my legs are lightly tanned. and yes, i had to buy a new swimsuit just for this trip. sigh.....
