just got back from watching the game between korea and germany at jamsil riverside park. needless to say, i'm a little sad that korea lost. it really looked as if they were going to go all the way, but i guess it wasn't meant to be. ironically, they beat teams that were ranked higher than germany, but then again, i think oliver kahn, the german goalie is ranked somewhere in the top 3. he did really well blocking all those shots. man, i don't know what to say. i must admit, i felt a little bit like crying, but then again, korea totally blew away everyone's expectations to advance this far. they still have the third place match ahead of them on saturday between the loser from the brazil-turkey match. i hope they win that one so that they could say that they are now one of the top three teams in the world.
