the first game of the world cup was today. france (1) vs. senegal (42). of course, senegal beat france. don't you love life's ironies? anyway bouba from senegal scored the first goal of the 2002 world cup. on a more personal note, i was looking at some pictures from this past easter as well as some pictures online from last summer and all i have to say is, dang, i got fat! i'm one of those unfortunate people who gets fat in the face so it's really obvious. this revelation has made me very sad and now i am resolved to lose weight this summer. which shouldn't be that hard since everyone walks anyway, right? sigh....
